Commercial EPC Surveys in Liverpool

To calculate an accurate rating for your Energy Performance Certificate, we first need to perform a full and detailed inspection of your commercial property.

This is conducted by one of our accredited energy assessors, who will visit your property in person. Their role is to examine key areas around the building that are likely to impact upon the property’s energy-efficiency. This is collated into a report that will be used to calculate your EPC rating.

Energy Performance Certificates in Liverpool

After completing the EPC assessment on your commercial property, we can calculate the appropriate energy performance rating and present you with an official Energy Performance Certificate. Your EPC includes the building’s current rating, as well as its address, type, and total floor area. It also shows the date of inspection, date of certification, and its serial number.

EPC Recommendations in Liverpool

As an environmentally-responsible business, Direct Energy Surveys is committed to helping our clients reduce their energy output. All our EPC reports include our recommendations for improving energy efficiency in your commercial property. As well as boosting your green credentials, these steps will also save your company energy and money.

Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards

Commercial property owners in Liverpool must ensure that their premises meet the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES). Failure do so means it will be unlawful to lease (or renew a lease) on said property from the 1st April 2018. If your EPC rating is F or G, you will have failed to meet MEES. Fortunately, the team at Direct Energy Surveys can provide you with the advice and assistance you need to do so.

Your Local Commercial EPC Assessors

We are based in South Manchester, from where we provide our essential EPC surveys and calculations to clients throughout the North West. Travelling along the M62, it normally takes us around an hour to reach our valued Liverpool clients. Our familiarity with the route ensures a timely arrival to each inspection.

Looking for Domestic EPC information?

If you’re selling or renting your home, a domestic EPC is legally required.

Your EPC helps potential buyers and tenants make an informed decision based on the energy efficiency and running costs of your property. Similarly, if you’re selling, marketing or renting business premises to new owners or leaseholders, you’ll need a commercial EPC. Commercial energy assessment helps to determine the building’s energy rating. Want to find out more? Browse our EPC assessment FAQ, which includes typical EPC costs.
